Enrichment Activities

We offer a wide range of on-site enrichment activities to 3's, 4's and TK children to broaden their educational experiences.

Preschool Arts Lab
Literacy based art experiences
Children enjoy hearing a different children’s book each month, followed by hands-on, age-appropriate art activities that bring the book to life.  Children explore painting, collaging, printmaking, drawing, and 3D construction which help stimulate creative thinking and self-expression. (Fours and TK classes walk to Spirit Square to enjoy the Preschool Arts Lab once a month).
My Gym

This interactive and age-appropriate program develops children’s strength, balance, coordination, agility and flexibility while developing social skills, confidence, and self-esteem.  During each class, children warm up their muscles, participate in obstacle courses, play games that build gross motor skills, and learn a targeted gross motor skill to practice until the next session.  (My Gym leads sessions in the gym for our threes, fours, and TK classes several times a month).
Discovery Place
Discover the extraordinary
Children step into a world where science is brought to life through interactive exhibits and explosive experiments.  From inquiry-based hands-on state-of-the-art labs to live animals and ever-changing exhibitions, Discovery Place engages minds and ignites wonder during an unparalleled learning experience.  (Our close proximity to Discovery Place makes monthly visits easy for our threes, fours, and TK classes.  During the winter months, Discovery Place comes to the Weekday School.)
The World Cultural Center

Children learn about different cultures through mus
ic, dance, artifacts, pictures, and costumes reflective of the culture.  Through interactive exhibits, children experience a learning environment that expands their perspective and understanding of other cultures.  (The World Cultural Center offers programs for our threes, fours, and TK classes four times throughout the year.)

Nature Museum
Children walk among free-flying butterflies in Butterfly Pavilion, observe animals in Creature Cavern, buzz by Insect Alley, explore the Nature Trail, and enjoy nature-based puppet shows. (Our 4s and TK classes attend the Nature Museum annually).
